What Peace offers you

Peace is a vibrant congregation poised for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to individuals and families.

We blend a mixture of rich Christian tradition with the contemporary in all areas of worship: service and ministry to our community, Christian education and Sunday School for children and adults.

The Peace congregation is large enough to meet the varied needs of all ages and life situations but small enough to maintain a personal touch.

Peace is involved in making disciples for Jesus Christ on a local level through our own congregation and world wide through our partnership in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

Peace is committed to Christian education. Our Lutheran pre-school, Little Lambs of Peace, provides a Christian education for children ages 2 through 4 and is staffed by fully accredited teachers and aides. Peace also is committed to helping students who attend Martin Luther and Milwaukee Lutheran High Schools and supports families wishing to send their children to Lutheran Day Schools.

With the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ as the focus of our existence, Peace is blessed with gifted musicians. Mr. Ben Culli is our organist; the Adult Choir is directed by Mr. Thomas Halverson and is known for its premieres of many choral works commissioned for the choir, congregation and instrumental accompaniment. The parish also is blessed with cantors which provide an additional opportunity for people to participate in the worship life of the parish.

A lively youth ministry, is divided into two different age groups (junior and senior high) and participates in bible study, nationwide servant events, mission efforts world-wide, as well as recreation and peer counseling.

Peace involves itself in mission opportunities for all ages.  Some of these mission "trips" are local as we serve in food pantries, clothing banks and meal programs.  Other mission trips have taken us from China to Mexico, from Guatemala to Kyrgyzstan.  This summer our Sr. High Youth are planning to work in an orphanage in Puerto Rico.
