Staff Comments
Mary Balistreri 3 year/4k Assistant, 2 years at Little Lambs
"I feel so blessed to be a part of Little Lambs of Peace preschool. Everyone is so incredible to work with - the staff,
parents and children. Teaching the children about Jesus has enriched my faith and made my job so rewarding. It is
a pleasure to come to work every day and look at their smiling faces as they ask me for help with something. I love
what I do here and couldn't be happier!"
Kristina Casper Extended Care, 3 years at Little Lambs "The best thing about teaching
at Little Lambs is the children. I feel very lucky because I get to be with all ages from the infants all the way up
to the 4- year preschoolers (and even 1/2 day Kindergartners!). The smiles, hugs and love that the children show me
says it all!"
Heather Culli Sing and Play a Baby's Way Teacher, First year at
Little Lambs "The best part about
teaching for me is seeing the joy God has given His little ones and being able to share in that joy each week!"
Debbie Hoeppner Two-Toddler/4k Assistant, 4 years at Little Lambs "The best thing
about teaching at Little Lambs is the great friendships I have with the teachers and preschool families. I love
teaching and watching the children grow in learning. Those hugs and smiles I receive just warm my heart!"
Elissa Kinsella Little Explorers Teacher, 3 years at Little Lambs "The best part of
teaching at Little Lambs is seeing the children. They return each week to Little Explorers with curiosity, bright
smiles, and the love to learn. What makes my day are the hugs I receive at the end of the class. There is nothing
better than that!"
Cindy Krauss 4k Teacher, 7 years at Little Lambs "Preschool allows me to teach
without the confines of textbooks, desks and chalkboards. I enjoy being creative with our units of study and
watching the children's excitement when the classroom changes. I like to be able to act silly and fit in! I love
this age of discovery! I have no problem being four years old again!"
Carolyn Laven Extended Care Asstistant/Substitute, First year at
Little Lambs "I enjoy all
the kids' smiles! It is great to have the flexibility to take the kids to all parts of the school during the day
like the gym, playground and toddler room."
Sue Monfre Two-Toddler Teacher, 4 years at Little Lambs "The best things about
teaching at Little Lambs are the families! Since parents accompany their child to class, I get to see the parents
interact with their child while they paint, sing, play, and listen to stories about their Savior. I see the love,
attention and pride that every parent has for their child, and know that our Savior has even stronger feelings for
us!"
Lori Paulus 3 year Teacher, 5 years at Little Lambs "When I was asked 'what is the
best thing about teaching at Little Lambs,' I really had to think because there are so many warm thoughts and
feelings that come over me when I reflect on my position here. I suppose, most importantly, it would have to be
the family atmosphere. I have been a member of Peace since I was 4 years old. I went to Sunday School here, was
confirmed here, married here and now it only seems natural to be working here. I feel as comfortable here as I do
in my own home. This is due greatly to the families I serve. I honestly feel that these children are like my own
and I am responsible for nurturing their academic and spiritual growth while they're with me. Sometimes it seems
like I may be getting more from them than they are from me. All of their hugs, drawings, 'I love yous,' and
eagerness to see what we're going to do each day fills my heart with joy!"
Nancy Reimer 3 year Assistant, 2 years at Little Lambs "I really enjoy working with
the 3 year old classes. They are so open and anxious to learn - like little sponges - soaking up everything around
them. I never cease to be amazed at what they remember and their wonderful imaginations. It's also nice to get
those little hugs before they leave to go home!"
Richele Reiske 4k Assistant, First year at Little Lambs "I feel very blessed to be
working with such a great team and such wonderful families. The enthusiasm for Little Lambs shows on everyone
involved. Pastor Schudde, Micah, all the parents, grandparents, teachers and children make this a very special
preschool!"
Linda Schoner 4k Teacher, 14 years at Little Lambs "One of the best things about
Little Lambs is the caring staff. We are creative, share information, and lend a helping hand when needed. It is
a wonderful place to work."
Debbie Shiroda 4k Assistant, First year at Little Lambs "For me, the best thing
about teaching at Little Lambs is the wonderful children and staff I work with. Seeing children learn new things,
develop new skills, and love coming to school makes each school day complete for me. Being around and working with
the kind, caring and up beat staff is another added bonus."
Nancy Sorensen Extended Care Assistant/Substitute, First year at
Little Lambs "I enjoy the
smiles on the children and parents faces. I also enjoy the sense of community with the staff at Little Lambs."
Joanne Webb 3 year Teacher, 5 years at Little Lambs "My favorite thing about teaching
at Little Lambs is sharing the love of Jesus with the children. I also love watching their little faces light up as
they sing a song or learn something new! But the best part by far is all the hugs and kisses I get from God's
precious children! Thanks for sharing your children with us!"
