In the Shadow of the Cross Memorial Garden

The Shadow of the Cross Memorial Garden was established for the use of members and friends of Peace Lutheran Church.

A record of each interment will be mapped on a plat and maintained in the church office. Ashes may be scattered over the rock beds in the rings of the Cross or interred in the soil area of the Cross beneath the plantings.

Nameplates  will be placed on a permanent memorial stone in the Shadow of the Cross Memorial Garden. The nameplate will include the name of the deceased, date of birth and date of death.

A memorial gift of $500 is to be made to the church for each interment or scattering of ashes. These memorials will be used for the perpetual care of the memorial garden. Agreement forms are available in the church office. A permanent record of your agreement will be maintained by Peace Lutheran Church.

Members are encouraged to make advance arrangements and give their memorial gift now to reserve their future resting place in the Shadow of the Cross Memorial Garden. Other memorials and donations for the construction and maintenance of the memorial gardens are welcomed.
